JV Assistant Coach – Morgan Burns

Morgan grew up in Arlington where she started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade with AYLC. She played 5 years for Washington-Liberty High School and was a Senior Captain in 2013. During that time, she also played club for SuperNoVa in Northern Virginia. After high school, Morgan played club lacrosse at Old Dominion University for 2 years as a Defender. Morgan graduated from ODU with a B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies – Special Education in 2018 and began teaching in Arlington County. She later completed a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction and a Master’s in Special Education from Radford University. Currently, Morgan is a Kindergarten and 1st grade Special Education teacher at Campbell Elementary school. Morgan joined Yorktown’s JV Coaching staff in 2023 and this will be her 2nd season with us.
